Erica's Cabin
The name
was chosen in honor of Heide's mother, Erica
d'Alquen.
This charming house was constructed in the
1790's in Kentucky and originally used as an inn. It was carefully
disassembled and moved to its present location in 1994. This cabin
was painstakingly restored to its current, pristine condition.
From the rustic exterior, guests are
transported to a well-appointed interior containing antiques, and
furnishings from many places.
The master bedroom features an extremely
comfortable, hand-made king-size bed.
The centerpiece of the bathroom is the
over-sized whirlpool tub with hand-held shower and imported Mexican
tile.
A large loft area hosts a hand-painted metal
queen-size bed as well as a comfortable antique twin bed.
The large living room centers around a
beautiful wood-burning fireplace, and offers satellite TV, V.H.S.
player, and A.M./F.M. Crosley radio.
The adjacent dining area offers hand-painted
and antique decor. A small kitchen area has a refrigerator,
microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. |

Till's Cabin
This cabin was named for Heide's brother,
Till d'Alquen.
This cozy cabin was remodeled from a small
traditional house using sawn cedar, old barn wood, and a lot of
imagination to create the warmth and ambience you find in Erica's
Cabin.
The rustic outer appearance gives way to a
beautiful interior of rich woods, leather, and furnishings of the
Southwest.
The bedroom is romantic and comfortable,
with a queen-size bed, designer linens, and a lazy ceiling fan.
Two can bathe at once in the large walk-in
tile shower with twin "rain" showerheads. It is separated from the
rest of the beautiful bathroom by a wavy glass block wall.
The living room is a comfortable collection
of furniture and antiques which face a beautiful natural stone
fireplace. For entertainment we offer A.M./F.M. Crosley radio, C.D.
player, and satellite TV.
The small kitchen/dining area has a toaster
oven, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
The back porch, besides offering a wonderful
view, contains a private open-air hot tub for two. |
